  • How often should I get my septic tank pumped?

    For households with an average-sized family, septic tanks should be cleaned every 2 years. Public and caravan parks need to be pumped much more often. Large tanks and septic treatment plants should be pumped every 4 or 5 years.

  • How does a septic tank work?

    A septic tank is designed to hold wastewater and allow solids to settle down to the bottom. The liquid wastewater then exits into the drain field, allowing for the wastewater to percolate into the soil, thereby removing harmful bacteria, nutrients and viruses.

  • Why should I get my septic tank cleaned?

  • How often should I get my commercial grease trap pumped?

    Rockhampton and Livingstone shire councils require all commercial grease traps to be pumped out every three months. Under some circumstances, you can apply for a council extension.

  • What is the difference between a budget & premium portable toilet?

    A budget portable toilet includes the sink only, while a premium portable toilet includes an ensuite and shower that produces instant hot water.
